Haiku Your Way To A New Laptop
Kids age 13 and above, in grades 9 through 12 will have a new contest this summer. Scholastic announced today that the Power of Poetry contest is on.
Entries must be submitted by June 30, 2009 and winners could get a new laptop, there will be prizes for students in grades 9 through 11, and prizes for students who graduated this year. Students must be in public schools or in accredited private schools. There is no purchase necessary for this contest.
Not sure how to write a haiku, no problem! The site even gives instructions on how to do it.
