Hello,
I was wanting to start a garden with my 8 year old step-daughter. I have never attempted a project like this. She is wanting to plant everything under the sun, such as fruit, veggies, flowers. I told her we should start slow at first.
What do you suggest the best starter plants that grow in South Central KS?
I appreciate your advice and input
Warm Regards,
Angela Bickham-Clark
Thank you for visiting and using some of the ideas that are offered on this site. I think you are right to start slow as you do not want it to be overwhelming.
Your library or local nursery would be a good place to look for information on what plant will grow best in your area. Or you might want to try one of the kits offered here
