Parent Network or New Tradition They Still Support Kids
Once more I thank my friend and reader Debbie who alerted me to this group of people who are supporting our children in their decision to become, healthy in mind and body, young adults.
This group is The New Tradition Coalition, and according to their website their mission is as follows:
Empower Lawrence to support alcohol and drug-free lifestyles for its youth. We are committed to providing parents and the community with factual data, education and resources to reduce the incidence of underage drinking and related tragedies.
Now many of you may not have heard of this name before, but you might know the group under its old name the Lawrence Parent Network. This is a group of dedicated parents who have already logged in 5 years at work for supporting kids in our community.
They do talk about things that can affect our kids today and later. Drugs, smoking, drinking are openly discussed with clear and factual information. They also provide links to find out more information when you need it.
You will also find a list of reading material to help you the parent be a stronger, better parent. Let’s face it we all need a little boost sometimes, specially if we are raising teens, it is easier when we see that others have the same issues we have.
I do encourage you to visit their site for information and also to show your support of their effort to educate us and our kids. It is yet one more way to help us keep our kids safe

Thank you for including our blog site on your page. There is a mantra for parents when it comes to underage drinking and drug use. “Talk Often and Talk Early.” Our blog spot has some great conversation starters for kids of all ages to educate us as parents and our children. We hope it is helpful. If you think it is, pass it on.
