The Lawrence St. Patrick’s Day Parade began in 1988 and has since been a long standing tradition of our community. That first year bad weather greeted the participant but did not dampen the charitable attitude and $800 were given to the March of Dimes. In 1990 the group of organizers voted to concentrate their fund raising efforts to benefit local children organizations, for which we salute them. This year’s beneficiaries are:
