Several Boys and Girls Scouts troops and packs are active in Lawrence. You will find a list of troops or packs below with a link when I have one. Please help me update the list by providing information about a troop or pack that I might have missed or for which I have incomplete information.
Boy Scouts Troops
Troop 52 is one of Lawrence’s oldest, continuously chartered Troops. They are chartered to the First United Methodist Church. While Troop 52 is a boy run troop, but their web site states that things couldn’t happen without adult leaders. Troop 52 meets from 7:00-8:30pm on Tuesday evenings. Location: 867 Highway 40, Lawrence
Troop 59 is a scout led troop chartered to First Presbyterian Church in Lawrence. Troop 59 meets Wednesdays, 7:30-9:00pm
Troop 61 Troop 61 meets on Tuesdays evenings at 6:30pm at St. Luke AME Church at 9th and New York Streets in Lawrence. (The information that I found on this troop is old and probably innacurate. For this reason I did not provide a link to its website. If you are involved in this troop and have newer information please leave me a comment so that I might correct the information).
Girl Scouting is a unique place where a girl discovers her courage by exploring new adventures, grows in confidence by finding her voice, builds character by developing her values and makes connections with friends and her community.
Brownie Troop 1216 meets the 1st & 3rd Monday evening from
6-7:30pm at Hillcrest Elementary!
