Freshly released is the list of summer camps offered at Bishop Seabury Academy this year.

These classes or camps are open to all students not to Seabury students only.

#1 Learning the Lingo: A headstart for latin students. June 1-5, Mornings 9-noon, Fee $134
It’s for grades 5-7, taught by Amy Meyers

#2 Study Skills—Fire them Up: Learn basic study skills for middle school, or improve the skills that did not provide the results you were expecting. June 1-5, Mornings 9:30-12:30, Fee $134
It’s for grades 7-9, taught by Judith Galas

#3 Volleyball Camp: Basic skills of all the elements of the game. participants must register by May 21 to receive one. There is a $10 late registration fee for those to sign up after May 21.
High School (9-12) May 26-29, Evenings 6-9pm, Fee $100
Junior High (7-8) June 1-4, Evenings 6-9pm, Fee $100
Elementary (K-6) June 15-18, Evenings 6-7:30pm, Fee $80

#4 Got Latin!:This course would be great for students who want a comprehensive introduction to Latin or would like to reinforce their knowledge of Latin.
June 8-12 , Mornings 9-noon, Fee $134
It’s for grades 5-8, taught by Amy Meyers

#5 How do I write in junior high?:This class is highly recommended for incoming Seabury students and especially for those who don’t feel confident as writers, but the individualized approach will make all students feel welcome. No homework. Maximum 12.
June 15-19Mornings 9-noon, Fee $134
It’s for grades 7-9, taught by Judith Galas

#6 How do I write in high school?:This class is highly recommended for all students who need to improve their writing skills before the fall. Students must attach to their registration form two examples of non-fiction writing that has been graded by a teacher. Some light homework.
June 15-19, Afternoons 1-4, Fee $134

#7 Love to Learn Latin!:This class is for any student who loves Latin and wishes to take Latin to the next level.
June 15-19, Mornings 9-noon, Fee $134
It’s for grades 5-9, taught by Amy Meyers

#8 Writing Fiction Starts with Characters:Bring a spiral notebook and your imaginations. Maximum enrollment 10. No homework.
June 22-25, and June 29-July 2, Mornings 9-noon, Fee $95
Students may enroll for both sessions and work at a higher level the second week.

#9 Seahawk Football Camp: A team camp for all students interested in playing football in the Fall. July 14-17, Afternoons 3:30-6pm, Fee $60
It’s for Seabury students grades 7-12, conducted by BSA Head Football Coach Scott Peavey and Seahawk coaching staff

#10 Homer’s Iliad:Challenge your linguistic fitness with this unique camp.
June 22-26, Mornings 9-noon, Fee $134
It’s for grades 9-12, taught by Amy Meyers

#11 Strength Training & Fitness for Athletes:June 1-30 M-F 2-3pm, Fee $30
July 1-31 M-F 2-3pm, Fee $30
It’s for grades 9-12, conducted by BSA coach Becky Bridson and Head Football coach Scott Peavey.

#12 Summer ESL:It’s taught by Seabury’s own Sara Asher, who has a M.A. in teaching English as a second language.
July 7-August 13, M-F 1-3pm, Fee $118 per week
It’s for grades 8-12, taught by Sara Asher.
